TRADITIONAL FELT ROOFING

Traditional roofing felt, also known as tar paper or roofing underlayment is a type of material used in the construction of roofs. It is typically made of a base material, such as cellulose or polyester, that is impregnated or coated with asphalt or tar. This makes it waterproof and resistant to moisture.

ROOF TILING

Roof tiles are overlapping tiles designed mainly to keep out rain or snow, and are traditionally made from locally available materials such as clay or slate. Later tiles have been made from materials such as concrete, and plastic.

ROOF INSULATION

Insulating your loft, attic or flat roof is an effective way to reduce heat loss and reduce your heating bills. Installed correctly, loft insulation should pay for itself many times over in its 40-year lifetime.

MORTAR WORKS

Repointing is the process of renewing the pointing, which is the external part of mortar joints, in masonry construction. Over time, weathering and decay cause voids in the joints between masonry units, usually in bricks, allowing the undesirable entrance of water.

EPDM & GRP

EPDM rubber is a type of synthetic rubber that is used in many applications. EPDM is an M-Class rubber under ASTM standard D-1418; the M class comprises elastomers with a saturated polyethylene chain. EPDM is made from ethylene, propylene, and a diene comonomer that enables crosslinking via sulfur vulcanization. Fiberglass or fibreglass is a common type of fiber-reinforced plastic using glass fiber. The fibers may be randomly arranged, flattened into a sheet called a chopped strand mat, or woven into glass cloth.

UPVC FASCIAS SOFFITS &
GUTTERING

A Soffit often refers to the exposed underside of a roof overhang, or eave, while fascia is often used to create a smooth appearance on a roof's edge and protect the roofing and interior of a home from severe weather. A rain gutter, eavestrough, eaves-shoot or surface water collection channel is a component of a water discharge system for a building.

STONE WORK

Stone slates are roofing materials obtained from stone deposits in the earth. The deposits are formed in a way that allows the stone to split into thin sheets along the bedding planes, resulting in effective stone roofing tiles.

UPVC CLADDING

uPVC Cladding (also known as uPVC Wall Cladding or Plastic Wall Cladding) is becoming an increasingly popular way to clad exterior walls, with many homeowners choosing it as a cost effective way to update the appearance of a property.

ROOF LIGHTS &
ALTERATIONS

A roof window is an outward opening window that is incorporated as part of the design of a roof. Often confused with a skylight, a roof window differs in a few basic ways. A roof window is often a good option when there is a desire to allow both light and fresh air into the space.
